Home1. Ta Yih is committed to maintaining a long-term cooperation relationship with domestic and overseas suppliers to jointly establish a sustainable supply chain that is developed stably. In addition to paying attention to the quality, delivery dates and prices of the products provided by suppliers, Ta Yih also requests suppliers to protect the environment, improve safety and health, value human rights, and perform corporate social responsibility jointly.
2. To perform corporate social responsibility, prevent human right violations from occurring for the minerals produced in the areas involved in the conflicts between the Republic of the Congo and adjacent countries or in other high-risk areas, and reduce the risk of supply chain management, Ta Yih conducts due diligence on suppliers and requests that mineral smelters/refiners entrusted shall comply with the RMI Responsible Minerals Assurance Process. Ta Yih requests new suppliers to sign the Commitment of Environmental Protection and Social Responsibility, and submit a qualified EMRT/CMRT report.
3. Ta Yih requests all suppliers to absolutely comply with the quality management system and environment and the safety and health management system, and reviews the conditions of a supplier through the supplier procurement procedure. From supplier development, screening, qualification assessment, performance evaluation to selection, Ta Yih uses a fair, open and objective system to control the supplier selection process. Suppliers are reviewed and selected based on corporate basic information, licenses and permits, quality certification records, EHS management survey, business operation, product information, manufacturing procedures, financial conditions, procurement obligations under contracts, and corporate social responsibility. Thus Ta Yih is able to avoid intentional manipulation and ensure that the selected suppliers meet the requirements of Ta Yih.
4. To enhance the competitiveness of Ta Yih’s whole supply chain, Ta Yih conducts audits on suppliers periodically and from time to time, and also includes quality, price, cost, service level, environmental protection, industrial safety, social responsibility and technology in evaluation items. In addition to ensuring product quality, Ta Yih also assists suppliers to find root causes for any abnormal supply and provides necessary guidance properly to maintain the best competitiveness of its supply chain.
